While LEED® and the importance of environmentally
conscious design and construction are relatively new
concepts, many of the methods and requirements for LEED® certification, established by the US Green
Building council (USGBC), have been integral parts
of Ivey Mechanical Company’s “toolbox” for many
years.
Water Use Reduction and Energy Efficiency
have long been key features of projects Ivey has
performed for federal, state and local governments.
Sustainability and Commissioning are
key features in the mechanical design of our
numerous data center projects as well as other owner
occupied facilities with which we have been
involved.
From our long history in healthcare construction, we
have learned the importance of Indoor
Environmental Quality.
Through the use of prefabrication, our traveling
“swing crew” concept, value analysis, and 3D/BIM
design, Ivey understands that an Innovative
approach to construction provides great value to our
clients.
