IMC Fabrication Company, located in Kosciusko, MS, is a multi-faceted division of Ivey Mechanical Company. Our mission is to provide high quality fabrication services; prefabricated units; and coordination, fabrication, installation drawings in a timely and cost effective manner to support the construction activities of Ivey Mechanical Company.

Morris Cockroft and Steve Barnhill oversee the operations of
IMC Fab which includes the following groups:

 

Computer Aided Design Group

  • Produce coordination drawings using MEP2008 software from Autodesk

  • Produce installation drawings using Duct Designer 3D and Pipe Designer 3D from QuickPen

  • Produce equipment room coordination, installation, and spool drawings for shop fabrication

  • Produce Vulcan downloadable sheet metal piece numbered drawings

  • Produce dimensional fabrication details

 

Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop

  • New 25,000 square foot facility

  • SMACNA standards

  • Have the capacity to produce up to 3,000,000 pounds of rectangular low and medium pressure ductwork

  • State-of-the-art coil fed cutter and precision coil line controlled by an integrated computer system

  • Fully capable of producing customized fabrication using galvanized and stainless steel materials

 

Pipe Fabrication Shop

  • 24,000 square foot facility

  • Ability to handle all fabrication up to and including 24 inch pipe

  • Utilize ASME quality and testing standards

  • Maintain ASME "S," "U," and "R" stamps

  • Two automatic welding machines

  • Victaulic roll groove

  • Double isle crane rail system with workstation hoisting arms

  • CWI standard cutting system that can simultaneously make two bevel cuts

  • Lockformer computerized cutting system that can produce cut-to-length pipe, holes, fish mouths, laterals, and beveled ends.

 

Heavy Metal Fabrication Shop

  • 7,000 square foot facility

  • Fabricate specialty metal products

  • Fabricate items using flat, tubular, and structural metals

  • Have the ability to MIG, TIG, or stick weld black iron, galvanized, stainless steel, and aluminum pipe and plate

  • Supported by a 3/16" shear and press break, and 8 gauge roll, and a 30 ton iron worker

 

Plumbing Fabrication Shop

  • Manufacture plumbing fixture rough-in units

  • Produce modular vertical and horizontal chase units

  • Produce vertical fixture drops

  • Produce skid mount water heaters, tanks, and pump assemblies
